In 1931 Gerardo Prisco founded his first textile distribution company. Over the decades this evolved into a business aimed at the production and distribution of garments dedicated to the "fast fashion" market.

Gardenia was born in 1977, from an idea of ​​the Treviso sisters, mother and aunt of the current owner Agata Liberatore. In 1997 the reins passed into the hands of Agata who chose shoes, bags and accessories as her mission. Gardeniastore made its e-commerce debut in 2018.
