Are we talking about sneakers?

Let's begin our journey into this world that we like...shoes, bags and accessories.

Today I will try to tell you something about sneakers while also presenting you with a small selection of these fantastic shoes that you can find in my store.

Born for sports, sneakers have become a cornerstone of our wardrobe.

It should be said that this shoe model has jumped the fence to which it was initially relegated and today we find it perfect for almost all outfits.

In my research I asked myself why they are called sneakers in the first place?

Well the term sneak was already in use in England in the second half of the nineteenth century.

But when did it enter the world of fashion and become what the sneaker is today?

We can say that the debut of this shoe in the world of high fashion is due to the legendary Christian Loboutin who opened the first men's sports shoe shop in 2011.

To end with a funny anecdote because you surely know the famous "Stan Smith " by Adidas.

Stan Smith was a successful tennis player between the end of the 1960s and the beginning of the 1970s who was offered by Adidas to wear a model which then took his name and which in 1988 entered the Guinness Book of Records : 22 million pairs sold in just one year.

Well Stan Smith said, "I'm a tennis player, but a lot of people think I'm a shoe!"
